14th November: The Lie of the Land: Who Controls the Map?
Back in February, I wrote that ‘Be it RGS lectures, books, or curriculum review responses, discussion of maps and how we should teach mapping seem to be everywhere at the moment’. Well, 8 months later, I echo that sentiment! Maps, once again, seem to be discussed everywhere I look!

Although I’m yet to make it to the actual exhibition, I attended this excellent event as part of the Secret Map series at the British Library. Prior to attending, I’d listened to this podcast which covered many of the ideas discussed. So, I now have even more food for thought to add to what I wrote here. I made some notes- now I just need to find a way to share them… watch this space…
